Chambered in 7.62×39 and equipped with Howa’s crisp HACT two-stage trigger, this rifle offers reliable performance in a lightweight, 12 % shorter action that accepts a wide range of aftermarket Mini Action accessories.

A 20-inch cold-hammer-forged chrome-moly barrel wears a heavy profile to dampen vibration and maintain accuracy during extended strings of fire. The muzzle is threaded 5/8-24 TPI for easy installation of a brake or suppressor.
The full Thunder Mountain Yote hydro-dip offers realistic coyote-fur patterning across the barrel, receiver, stock, and optic mount—an advantage when calling predators in open country.
Howa’s two-stage HACT trigger breaks cleanly and consistently, helping shooters extract the rifle’s inherent accuracy. A three-position safety allows bolt operation while on “Safe.”
The pillar-bedded synthetic stock features a right-hand palm-swell pistol grip and a soft rubber recoil pad, delivering a secure hold and comfortable shooting position in all weather.
