The Mod.2 OSP slide is factory-milled and topped with the Crimson Trace CTS-1500, a 3.5-MOA red-dot that auto-adjusts brightness for quick, daylight-visible aiming. A loaded-chamber viewing port on the barrel hood and a rear striker-status indicator give instant visual status checks without manipulating the slide.
The micro-sized polymer frame keeps overall width to just 0.9 inches while retaining Springfield’s interchangeable back-strap system for a tailored grip. A grip safety, trigger safety blade, and internal striker block provide multiple passive safeties without adding external levers.
A hammer-forged 3.3-inch barrel and Melonite-treated forged steel slide offer corrosion resistance and long service life. Rear cocking serrations, an external extractor, and white-dot/serrated iron sights round out a slide assembly built for dependable everyday carry.
