Smith & Wesson’s Performance Center enhanced the standard M&P-10 with a 20-inch carbon-steel barrel cut with 5R rifling to reduce bullet deformation and fouling. The barrel is threaded 5/8-24 to accept most common muzzle devices or suppressors.
The rifle uses a direct-impingement gas system and a lightweight 15-inch Troy Alpha free-float handguard with M-LOK slots and continuous Picatinny rail, keeping weight down while allowing easy accessory placement.
Fully ambidextrous magazine release, bolt release, and safety selector make the rifle accessible for right- or left-handed shooters. A Magpul MOE+ grip and fixed polymer stock provide a solid, ergonomic interface.
A factory-tuned two-stage trigger breaks at approximately 4.5 pounds, offering a crisp pull that supports precision shooting. The 7075-T6 aluminum receivers wear Smith & Wesson’s durable matte-black Armornite finish for corrosion resistance.
