The hybrid design accepts standard AK-pattern magazines, yet keeps familiar AR-style controls and ergonomics. CMMG’s oversized PowerBolt, derived from the AR-10, provides extra case support for the 7.62x39 cartridge and smooth cycling under rapid fire.
The 16.1-inch medium-taper barrel is crafted from 4140 chromoly steel, given a corrosion-resistant nitride treatment, and threaded 5/8-24 to accept the factory ZEROED multi-port muzzle brake. An adjustable gas block lets the shooter fine-tune recoil and reliability with different loads or suppressor use.
A 15-inch CMMG EML-15 free-float handguard in 6061-T6 aluminum offers full-length 360° M-LOK slots for accessories while protecting the barrel from contact. The 7075-T6 aluminum receivers wear an Armor Black Cerakote for a durable, low-glare finish.
The six-position CMMG RipStock gives a quick preset deployment and 11-inch length-of-pull, while a Magpul MOE grip supplies a secure, comfortable hold.
