This factory SAINT pistol pairs Springfield Armory’s proven AR-15 platform with the hard-hitting .300 AAC Blackout cartridge. A 9-inch Melonite-treated CMV barrel, SB Tactical SBX-K brace, and nickel-boron enhanced trigger give the gun performance features that stand out in the AR pistol category while keeping overall length compact and maneuverable.

The 9-inch barrel is cut from chrome moly vanadium steel, given a corrosion-resistant Melonite finish inside and out, and threaded 5/8x24 for standard .30-caliber muzzle devices. A fast 1:7 twist rate stabilizes the full range of .300 BLK bullet weights, from lightweight supersonic loads to heavy subsonic rounds.
Springfield’s proprietary free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard secures with a robust four-bolt interface that locks firmly to the upper receiver. The flat-top receiver is optics ready, and the pinned, adjustable low-profile gas block ensures reliable cycling with varying ammunition types.
An SB Tactical SBX-K arm brace with Velcro strap adds stability without adding significant weight. The pistol grip is a BCM-style Mod 3 polymer unit that offers an improved, more vertical angle for compact platforms.
Inside, the shot-peened and MPI-inspected Carpenter 158 bolt carrier group is Melonite treated for durability. The enhanced single-stage trigger is nickel-boron coated and breaks at roughly 6 lb, giving a smooth, consistent pull straight from the factory.
Both upper and lower receivers are forged from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished with a matte black hard-coat anodizing. Springfield’s Accu-Tite system tensions the receivers together, reducing play and improving perceived accuracy.
