The commander-length 4.25" barrel keeps the pistol compact while retaining full-size sight radius and handling. Combined with the double-stack A2 frame, it offers 17-round capacity without altering classic 1911 controls.
Chambered in .22 TCM, the pistol launches a 40-grain bullet at roughly 2,000 fps, producing a flat trajectory, low muzzle rise, and a vivid muzzle flash that many shooters enjoy. A supplied 9 mm barrel and recoil spring let owners switch calibers in minutes, using the same magazine.
Both slide and frame are machined from 4140 ordnance steel for durability. The matte dark-gray parkerized finish resists corrosion and glare, making this pistol suitable for range use or daily carry.
Shootability is enhanced by a skeletonized commander-style hammer, a lightened trigger with an adjustable over-travel stop, and an extended beavertail grip safety. Checkered polymer grip panels with the RIA logo provide a secure hold.
Target work is supported by a dovetail blade front sight and a low-profile, screw-adjustable rear sight that allow precise windage and elevation adjustments.
