This FN 15 Military Collector Series M16 is a factory-built civilian replica of the U.S. Marine Corps M16A4, produced on the same FN production line that supplies the Department of Defense. Part of a limited run offered from 2015–2021, it ships with authentic Knight's Armament M5 RAS quad-rail, Matech 200–600 m rear sight, and ambidextrous SAFE-SEMI-AUTO selector markings, giving collectors a true military-grade configuration in semi-automatic form.

FN builds this rifle with a 20" chrome-lined, button-broached barrel certified through high-pressure testing and magnetic particle inspection. The 1:7" twist stabilizes a wide range of 5.56 NATO projectiles, and the 1/2x28 threads accept standard muzzle devices.
The rifle-length gas system mirrors the service M16A4, delivering smooth recoil impulse and reliable cycling. A genuine Knight's Armament M5 RAS quad-rail provides robust mounting space while retaining the classic A2 F-height front sight post.
Controls follow the military layout, including ambidextrous safety selector markings and a Matech folding rear sight adjustable from 200 to 600 meters. The fixed A2 stock, A2 pistol grip, and polymer black furniture complete the service-correct profile.
