Century Arms AK63DS 7.62x39mm Semi-Auto Rifle, Hungarian Parts Kit, Under-Folder Stock, 16.3" Chrome-Lined Barrel
This AK63DS is a scarce, U.S.-assembled semi-automatic rifle built by Century Arms using original Hungarian AK-63D military surplus parts. A limited production run from circa 2016–2019, it pairs the desirable Hungarian under-folding stock and hardwood handguards with a new chrome-lined 16.3-inch barrel and stamped receiver. Collectors value these rifles for their authentic parts kit heritage and their relative rarity on the U.S. market.

What’s Included
- 1 × 30-round ribbed steel 7.62×39 AK-pattern magazine
- Steel AK-pattern cleaning rod (installed under barrel)
Built from a Hungarian AK-63D parts kit, this rifle retains the original phosphate-finished steel under-folding stock and matching beech hardwood handguards, giving it the look and feel of the service rifle while operating in semi-automatic form.
The new U.S.-made 4140 chrome-moly barrel is chrome-lined for longevity and corrosion resistance. It is threaded 14×1 LH, matching standard AK muzzle device patterns, and features a 1:10 RH twist for reliable 7.62×39mm stabilization.
A stamped U.S. receiver and other domestic compliance parts bring the rifle in line with current regulations while preserving the rifle’s authentic Hungarian character. The phosphate finish offers a uniform, low-glare protective coating.
Century’s RAK-1 enhanced single-stage trigger provides a smooth, predictable pull, improving practical accuracy without departing from the original AK fire-control feel. Standard AK controls, including the side safety lever and paddle magazine release, remain unchanged for familiar operation.
Adjustable iron sights—hooded front post and tangent rear leaf—maintain the traditional AK sight picture, allowing quick elevation adjustments out to battlefield ranges.
