This Short Rifle Deluxe Grade is a scarce, high-quality reproduction of the legendary Winchester 1873. Built by Winchester/Miroku for Navy Arms and finished by Turnbull Restoration, fewer than 300 examples were produced in 2014. Bone-charcoal color-case hardening, fancy walnut furniture, and a factory short-stroke lever kit set this rifle apart for shooters and collectors alike.

The rifle features a 20-inch octagon steel barrel with a deep blued finish, partnered with Turnbull’s vivid bone-charcoal color-case hardened receiver, lever, hammer, fore-end cap, and butt-plate. CIP proof marks are present, and the barrel is stamped “NAVY ARMS”.
Chambered in .45 Colt, the tubular magazine holds ten rounds. A short-stroke lever kit is factory-installed, reducing throw distance for faster cycling while preserving the smooth action that makes the 1873 design timeless.
Deluxe fancy-figured walnut is used for both the straight-grip stock and the fore-end. Fine 20-line-per-inch diamond checkering adds secure handling and gives the rifle an upscale, period-correct look. Length of pull measures 13.25 inches.
Sighting equipment consists of a gold-bead blade front and an adjustable semi-buckhorn elevator rear, providing a traditional yet practical iron-sight picture for both range work and field use.
