This M-105 is part of Calico’s rare sporting line, produced in limited numbers before and during the 1994–2004 Federal AWB, yet always available to civilian buyers. Its patented U.S. Patent No. 4,676,137 helical feed system positions the magazine on top of the receiver, keeping the profile slim while delivering a 100-round capacity.
The carbine pairs a matte-black alloy receiver and polymer frame with a fixed walnut stock and matching fore-end, giving the otherwise futuristic design a traditional sporting appearance. At just 3.7 lb, it offers easy handling whether on the range or in the field.
Controls are straightforward: a reciprocating charging handle, blowback-operated semi-automatic action, and a cross-bolt safety. Iron sights include an AR-15–style triangular front tower with elevation drum; the rear sight is integral to the magazine provided.
