The Smith & Wesson Model 3913 is a third-generation, single-stack 9mm designed for discreet carry without sacrificing shootability. Its slim aluminum-alloy frame, matte stainless slide, and proven DA/SA action made it a standout option during its 1989–1999 production run. This mid-1990s example, marked by a “VAN” serial prefix, comes in very good condition with its factory box, paperwork, and two stainless magazines.

Built on S&W’s compact alloy frame, the Model 3913 measures just over one inch wide, making it easy to conceal while still offering an 8+1 capacity. The matte silver anodized frame pairs with a matte stainless slide for corrosion resistance and a subdued, non-reflective profile.
The pistol employs a double-action/single-action trigger system with a smooth curved trigger. An ambidextrous slide-mounted safety/decocker, firing-pin block, and magazine safety disconnect provide multiple layers of mechanical security.
Fixed Novak 3-dot sights give a clean, snag-free sight picture. Rear grasping serrations aid slide manipulation, while the bobbed spur hammer minimizes printing under clothing.
A 3.5" stainless barrel keeps the gun compact yet maintains reliable ballistic performance. The wrap-around black polymer grip with molded checkering offers a secure hold without adding bulk.
