BUL Armory SAS II Ultralight 9mm Compact Double-Stack 1911-Style Pistol
The SAS II Ultralight distills BUL Armory’s race-gun pedigree into a carry-sized, aluminum-framed 1911-pattern pistol that weighs under 24 oz unloaded. A spiral-fluted stainless bull barrel, lightening windows in the matte-black PVD slide, and a polymer grip module combine to reduce reciprocating mass while maintaining a 16-round capacity. Released in 2021, this Israeli-made, optics-ready sidearm delivers high performance in a slim, easily carried package.

The Ultralight’s 3.25-inch spiral-fluted bull barrel pairs with an aggressively windowed slide to minimize muzzle flip and speed cycling. The stainless barrel remains corrosion-resistant, and its bull profile adds weight where it benefits accuracy most.
An aluminum-alloy frame with an integral accessory rail keeps the unloaded weight below 24 oz while still allowing light or laser attachment. The polymer grip module features deep diamond texturing for a secure hold during rapid strings.
The slide wears a durable matte-black PVD finish, with front and rear serrations for confident manipulation and an RMSc/K-footprint optic cut covered by a factory plate. A fiber-optic front sight remains in place and can co-witness with many micro-red-dot optics once installed.
Controls follow classic 1911 ergonomics: a single-action trigger with a lightened three-hole shoe, a skeletonized commander hammer, and ambidextrous thumb safeties complemented by a grip safety and half-cock notch.
Proof marks include “MADE IN ISRAEL” and the BUL Armory USA Miami import stamp, underscoring the pistol’s Israeli manufacture and U.S. compliance.
