Sig Sauer 1911 Spartan Carry .45 ACP Limited-Edition Compact, Oil Rubbed Bronze PVD, CA Compliant
The first-generation Sig Sauer 1911 Spartan Carry pairs classic Commander dimensions with a striking oil rubbed bronze PVD finish and bold “ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ” engravings. Built on an all-stainless frame and slide, this limited-production model (SKU 1911CA-45-SPARTAN) is California-compliant and discontinued, making it both collectible and hard to find. A bushingless match-grade barrel, tritium night sights, and 25 LPI front-strap checkering round out a package built for practical performance and display appeal.

The Spartan Carry uses a 4.2 in bushingless, match-grade barrel for tight lockup and consistent accuracy. The compact slide features rear cocking serrations, an external extractor, a lowered and flared ejection port, and the iconic “ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ” engraving that echoes the Spartan theme.
Both frame and slide wear a durable oil rubbed bronze PVD finish over stainless steel, giving the pistol a distinctive look while resisting corrosion and holster wear. 25 LPI checkering on the front strap and mainspring housing, plus an integral beveled mag-well, enhance grip and speed reloads.
Skeletonized aluminum trigger and hammer, single-side extended thumb safety, grip safety, and firing-pin block deliver the familiar 1911 single-action feel with modern safety redundancy. Tritium night sights—dovetailed front and drift-adjustable rear—provide a clear, three-dot sight picture in any lighting.
The black polymer/aluminum grips showcase bronze Spartan helmet inlays and an additional “ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ” legend, tying the look together and underlining the pistol’s limited-edition status.
