What’s Included
- Armi San Marco Model 1847 Colt Walker .44 revolver
Armi San Marco built this revolver as a faithful, full-size homage to the massive Colt Walker carried by mounted dragoons in the Mexican-American War. Every major assembly shares the matching serial “777,” underscoring factory fit and finish.
The 9" part-octagon blued steel barrel teams with a six-shot blued cylinder that wears the correct W.L. Ormsby cavalry battle scene. Six safety-pin notches on the cylinder rear match the original design.
A color case-hardened steel frame, hammer, and loading lever replicate 19th-century metallurgy. The captive plunger-type loading lever with spring latch follows Colt’s Walker-specific pattern, including the latch style known for dropping under recoil on originals.
Fixed iron sights consist of a brass blade front and hammer-notch rear—simple, rugged, and authentic. Smooth oiled walnut grips round out the historically accurate profile.
Italian proof marks affirm its Brescia manufacture, and the revolver’s steel construction throughout ensures modern durability while staying true to the 1847 form.
