This Borden Accuracy Mountaineer is a purpose-built, full-size bolt-action rifle chambered in Hornady’s modern 7mm PRC. Crafted as a custom build, it combines a black-nitride Borden action with a spiral-fluted bolt, a 26-inch heavy stainless barrel, and a Manners High Plains Elite carbon-fiber stock bedded by TM Stockworks. Precision components such as the TriggerTech adjustable single-stage trigger and a pinned one-piece Picatinny rail complete a package designed for consistent long-range performance.

Built around Borden’s precision Mountaineer action, this rifle carries an integral recoil lug and follows the familiar Remington 700 footprint for broad compatibility with aftermarket parts. The spiral-fluted, two-lug bolt is serial-matched to the receiver and treated with a durable black-nitride finish for smooth cycling and corrosion resistance.
The 26-inch heavy-contour stainless barrel features a recessed crown and a bead-blasted matte surface that pairs well with the action’s deep black finish. Chambered in 7mm PRC, it delivers the high ballistic efficiency and long-range capability that the cartridge was designed for when Hornady introduced it in 2022.
A Manners High Plains Elite carbon-fiber composite stock keeps weight manageable while maintaining rigidity. TM Stockworks installed an aluminum mini-chassis for repeatable bedding, and the stock adds an adjustable cheek piece, vertical grip, ambidextrous thumb shelves, and a rubber recoil pad to fine-tune shooter fit.
Shooters will appreciate the TriggerTech adjustable single-stage trigger, which offers a crisp break and straightforward pull-weight tuning. The rifle also includes a pinned one-piece Picatinny scope rail engraved with 0/10/20 MOA index marks, giving you a solid foundation for optics setup.
The internal magazine holds 3 rounds plus one in the chamber, and a magazine latch located inside the trigger guard streamlines reloads while protecting the release from accidental activation.
