The FNX-45 employs a double-action/single-action trigger with an external round-spur hammer, giving shooters a long first-pull option and crisp single-action follow-up shots. A manual safety/decocker is mirrored on both sides, complemented by ambidextrous slide stop and magazine release controls for seamless operation from either hand.
Its 4.5 inch cold-hammer-forged stainless steel barrel features a 1:16 RH twist, delivering long service life and consistent accuracy with standard or +P .45 ACP loads. Replaceable steel frame rails reinforce the polymer frame, extending the pistol’s expected round count and simplifying future maintenance.
