Each part was hand-fit at the Colt Custom Shop, resulting in a glass-smooth double-action pull and a crisp single-action break.
The 4-inch carbon-steel barrel combines a ventilated rib for rapid sight acquisition with a full under-lug that adds weight forward, aiding recoil control in .357 Magnum. The barrel is crowned to protect the rifling, and the Royal Blue polish delivers a mirror-like finish that remains highly sought after.
