Designed around a true single-action-only system, this Legion-series P226 features a flat-faced trigger that breaks cleanly and resets short, encouraging fast, consistent follow-up shots. The ambidextrous manual thumb safety adds confident, bilateral control during administrative handling or on-range drills.
Both slide and frame wear SIG’s proprietary Legion Gray PVD finish over hard-anodized alloy, combining corrosion resistance with a distinctive low-glare look. Front and rear cocking serrations, along with the Legion chevron engraving, give the slide both function and character.
SIG XRAY3 sights place a high-visibility green-ring tritium front sight between a two-dot tritium rear, offering a bright, fast sight picture in daylight and low-light conditions alike. A full-length steel guide rod tames recoil, and the integral Picatinny rail on the dust cover makes it simple to mount a light or laser.
Black checkered G-10 grips with bronze Legion medallions provide secure traction without excess bulk. Combined with the enhanced beavertail and undercut trigger guard, they help lock the pistol into the hand for repeatable shot-to-shot control.
