Built on the original Gen 1 Contender frame, serial prefix 358xxx, this pistol represents the platform that made T/C famous for quick barrel swaps and broad caliber versatility. The Custom Shop pedigree means tighter tolerances and hand-fitted components compared to standard production.
The 12-inch carbon-steel bull barrel wears a deep, high-luster blue finish that contrasts nicely with the matte-blued frame. Chambered in .45 Colt, it delivers solid performance for target work or hunting, and the break-open action makes loading effortless.
Factory scroll engraving with a detailed pouncing cougar vignette adorns both sides of the frame. This tasteful artwork is cut at the factory, adding collectible value without compromising durability.
Controls are straightforward: an external hammer with rimfire/centerfire firing-pin selector, a crisp single-action trigger with a serrated face, and a top-strap release lever. The frame is drilled and tapped, and a scope mount is already installed for optics users.
