The M&P 5.7 pairs Smith & Wesson’s lightweight polymer frame with the fast 5.7x28mm cartridge and the company’s TEMPO gas-operated rotating-barrel system. This full-size pistol leaves the factory with a 22-round magazine, a protected 1/2-28 threaded stainless barrel, and an optics-cut slide. This example is further upgraded with a Viridian RFX15 green-dot sight, a Tandemkross Pro2 two-port compensator, and a CronHawk rail-mounted weapon light, giving the buyer a turnkey defensive or range package.

Details
The heart of the pistol is its 5" stainless steel barrel with a 1/2-28 UNEF thread and 1:9" RH twist. Smith & Wesson’s TEMPO rotating-barrel system manages recoil efficiently, and the Tandemkross Pro2 compensator further mitigates muzzle rise.
The slide wears a durable black Armornite nitride finish and features forward and rear serrations, lightening cuts, and an RMSc-footprint optics cut. A Viridian RFX15 reflex sight is already zeroed in place, providing a crisp green 3 MOA aiming dot while leaving the factory three-dot irons in reserve.
An internal hammer-fired, single-action trigger offers a flat face with an integrated safety blade. Ambidextrous thumb safeties and a reversible magazine release make the pistol adaptable for either hand, while the polymer frame’s molded rail carries the included CronHawk weapon light.
Two 22-round magazines maximize the 5.7x28mm cartridge’s low-recoil potential, and the full-size grip ensures solid control. At an MSRP of $699 before accessories, this upgraded example delivers enhanced performance without additional setup.
