The T.O.R.O. (Taurus Optic Ready Option) slide is factory-milled and ships with a four-plate adapter set, letting you mount many of the most popular micro red-dot footprints without gunsmithing. Front and rear cocking serrations give a sure grip when manipulating the matte black slide.
Inside, a 4" stainless steel barrel partners with the full-size polymer frame to balance recoil and sight radius. The G3’s striker-fired mechanism delivers a light single-action break on the first shot plus restrike capability for immediate second-strike attempts—an uncommon feature in modern striker pistols.
Safety is comprehensive: a blade-style trigger safety, internal striker block, manual thumb safety, and a loaded-chamber indicator work together to prevent unintended discharge while keeping operation intuitive.
The textured polymer grip includes molded memory pads for consistent thumb placement, while a three-slot Picatinny rail on the dust cover accepts lights or lasers. Tenifer nitrocarburizing hardens the slide to roughly 64 HRC, providing strong corrosion and wear resistance for long service life.
