Beretta 96 FS .40 S&W Full-Size DA/SA Pistol — Bruniton Finish, 4.9" Barrel, Made in USA
The U.S-made Beretta 96 FS brings the trusted 92/M9 design into the .40 S&W realm. Built in Accokeek, Maryland, this non-railed, full-size pistol retains the open-top slide, ambidextrous safety/decocker, and reversible magazine release that make the platform popular, while adding the punch of a 10+1 .40 S&W chambering. Its Bruniton-coated slide and hard-anodized aluminum frame keep weight in check without sacrificing durability.

What’s Included
- Beretta 96 FS .40 S&W pistol
- Two 10-round factory Beretta magazines
The 96 FS shares extensive parts commonality with the 92-series, simplifying maintenance and parts sourcing while delivering a heavier-hitting caliber. Its chrome-lined 4.9" steel barrel resists corrosion and aids cleaning, and the open-top slide helps ensure reliable cycling and easy ejection.
A Bruniton black finish protects the steel slide, while the hard-anodized aluminum alloy frame keeps weight manageable for a full-size service pistol. Checkered black polymer grip panels offer a secure, consistent hold.
Controls are user-friendly: the ambidextrous safety/decocker accommodates right- or left-handed shooters, and the reversible magazine release can be swapped without tools. Fixed 3-dot sights—integral front blade and dovetailed rear notch—provide a clear, durable sight picture.
Produced before Beretta’s factory relocation, this Maryland-built example represents an early generation of .40 S&W service pistols, blending proven design with increased caliber performance.
