Colt Anaconda First Generation .44 Magnum 4" Stainless Revolver with Dragon-Scale Grips
This 1992 Colt Anaconda is a first-generation “Snake Gun” chambered in .44 Remington Magnum and built from forged stainless steel. The less-common 4-inch barrel, combined with custom dragon-scale hardwood grips, sets it apart from the more frequently seen 6- and 8-inch versions. With its smooth double-/single-action trigger, wide target hammer, and classic red-ramp front sight, this revolver delivers the features collectors look for in early-production Anacondas.

Forged entirely in satin-brushed stainless steel, this Anaconda features a full under-lug barrel, vent rib, and recessed crown for added rigidity and balanced weight. The MM-prefix serial confirms first-generation production, running from 1990–2003.
Colt’s wide, serrated target hammer and smooth, wide trigger give the revolver a controllable double-action pull and a crisp single-action break—attributes prized by shooters and collectors alike.
The pinned red-ramp front sight teams with a fully adjustable square-notch rear sight, offering a clear sight picture for magnum loads. A six-shot fluted cylinder maintains the classic Colt profile while keeping weight manageable in this full-size frame.
Custom hardwood grips with dragon-scale checkering provide a secure hold and distinctive appearance. The factory rubber Monogrip is included for those who prefer the original setup.
