Details
This P226 Legion SAO is built around a stainless-steel slide finished in SIG’s Elite Cerakote Legion Gray PVD, matched to a hard-coat anodized aluminum alloy frame. Forward and rear cocking serrations give confident purchase for press checks or administrative manipulation.
The single-action-only system delivers a consistent, lightweight break. SIG’s Short Reset Trigger (SRT) and the Grayguns Super-Match flat face shorten follow-up shots and promote a straight-to-rear press. An ambidextrous manual safety provides positive on-gun control for duty or competition use.
Ergonomics are enhanced by a contoured beavertail, undercut trigger guard, and checkered front strap with an “X-Five” style undercut. Black/gray checkered G-10 grips with Legion medallions lock the pistol firmly in the hand, while the solid steel guide rod adds weight up front to soften recoil.
Sight duty is handled by a TG-H3 tritium/fiber-optic front sight and a tritium two-dot rear, giving a bright sight picture in daylight and full illumination after dark. Three magazines—one 20-round and two 15-round—provide flexible carry or range setups.
