The forged carbon-steel frame and slide wear Ed Brown’s Gen4 nitrocarburized matte black finish, giving the pistol enhanced corrosion resistance without adding thickness. Chainlink-III texturing on the front strap and mainspring housing offers a secure, non-abrasive grip that stays comfortable through extended strings of fire.
The 5" hand-fitted stainless match barrel and bushing are built to deliver sub-1.5" groups at 25 yards. A flattened, 40 lpi-serrated slide top reduces glare, while square-cut rear serrations provide positive purchase for press checks. The slide-stop pin is recessed for a smooth profile.
Sights consist of a dovetailed front blade with a single tritium dot and a ledge-style rear sight with two tritium dots, enabling a bright three-dot night sight picture and one-handed racking on hard surfaces. The single-side extended thumb safety and beavertail grip safety align with traditional duty-ready 1911 controls.
The long, three-hole aluminum trigger and skeletonized combat hammer keep lock time short and trigger weight crisp. G10 textured grip panels balance traction and comfort, rounding out a thoughtfully executed fighting pistol built in the USA with an MSRP of $3,195.
