The Short Rifle variant blends fast handling with a full-length 10+1 tubular magazine, making it well-balanced for the range or field. A drilled-and-tapped tang lets you add an optional peep sight without altering the rifle’s lines.
The action features a half-cock notch and firing-pin safety block for added security, while the external hammer provides the traditional operating feel enthusiasts expect. A dust cover rides the top rail, protecting the action just like the originals.
Walnut stock and fore-end wear a tasteful oil finish and remain uncheckered for period authenticity. The straight-grip profile and 12.75" length of pull offer comfortable, repeatable shouldering.
