Canik TP9 9mm Luger DA/SA Striker-Fired Pistol, Early Production, Black 4.19" Barrel 17+1
The Canik TP9 shown here is an early-production, full-size 9mm that helped launch Canik’s reputation in the U.S. market. It combines a Walther P99-style DA/SA striker system with a slide-top decocker, a polymer frame, and a green fiber-optic front sight that was uncommon on first-generation duty pistols. Matching serial numbers are present on the barrel, frame, and grip plate, underscoring factory originality.

What’s Included
- Canik TP9 9mm pistol
- One 17-round factory Canik steel magazine
Designed around a striker-fired, double-action/single-action system, this TP9 allows a true second-strike capability while still offering a crisp single-action break once cocked. The external decocker button atop the slide safely returns the striker to rest, making administrative handling straightforward.
The full-size polymer frame incorporates an accessory rail and interchangeable backstrap capability, giving the shooter flexibility in configuring grip size and mounting lights or lasers. Canik crest grip panels add a distinctive factory touch.
Sighting is fast thanks to the combination of a bright green fiber-optic front dot and a drift-adjustable two-dot rear. The reversible magazine release supports left- or right-handed shooters, and the trigger safety tab adds a passive layer of protection.
A black finished slide and frame keep the profile subdued and duty-ready. Import marks from CAI Georgia, VT confirm its path into the U.S., and its place as one of the first TP9s to reach American shelves.
