Product Description

    Beretta 950B Minx .22 Short Tip-Up Pocket Pistol - 1967 Italian Pre-Ban

Made in 1967 and proof-marked in Gardone, this Beretta 950B Minx represents the last of the pre-1968 import pocket pistols. Its micro-size aluminum frame, carbon-steel tip-up barrel, and single-action blowback system deliver classic Beretta handling in a feather-light package. The matching-number factory box adds desirable provenance for collectors.

    Condition

Overall Condition: Fair condition, showing extensive signs of prior use and handling.
Bore Condition: Good - Clean, well-maintained, minor wear marks.
Bore Rifling: Good Rifling - Intact, well-defined lands and grooves.

Specific Condition Notes: Functionality is solid. Exterior surfaces show scattered scratches, blemishes, and areas of rust and pitting. The tip-up barrel locks up correctly, and the bore remains bright and shiny.

    What’s Included

    • Beretta 950B Minx pistol
    • 1x 6-round steel magazine
    • Original Beretta factory cardboard box (Minx M2)

This 950B Minx features Beretta’s signature tip-up 2.38" barrel, allowing safe chambering or clearing without racking the slide—ideal for a micro pistol with no extractor.

Its pre-BS configuration omits the later manual safety lever; instead, a half-cock notch on the external spur hammer serves as the primary safety device, paired with a heel-release magazine catch for pocket-friendly carry.

The pistol’s blued slide and carbon-steel barrel contrast with a black-anodized aluminum alloy frame, keeping weight to a minimum while retaining durability. Fixed sights consist of a barrel-integral half-moon front blade and a shallow rear notch—typical of Beretta pocket pistols of the era.

Italian Gardone proof marks and the “XXIII” date code confirm 1967 manufacture. Being imported before the Gun Control Act, this example is both collectible and unrestricted by later size regulations.
