The rifle uses the Daniel Defense M4A1 RIS II free-float quad rail in FDE, engraved with P/N DD8001, NSN 1005-01-547-2624, and the DD CAGE code. The top rail is continuous and T-marked with the factory "FRONT SIGHT HERE" reference. This setup provides solid, rigid rail space across the upper span for mounting as needed.
Its 14.5 inch barrel is paired with a permanently attached open three-prong flash hider, secured with a crush washer. The system runs a semi-automatic, direct impingement action in 5.56mm NATO, feeding from STANAG-pattern detachable box magazines. Capacity is 30+1.
The upper is a flat-top A3 with a forward assist and shell deflector. Controls include a right-side SAFE/SEMI selector, a standard magazine release, and a manual safety. The receivers wear a black hardcoat anodized finish, manufactured in the United States.
Furniture includes a collapsible stock with a rubber buttpad and a Daniel Defense textured pistol grip. The two-tone presentation, with black receivers and the FDE RIS II handguard, gives this DDM4 M4A1 a distinct look. Included rail covers and a long lower rail panel are already installed, and a Magpul PMAG is provided.
Factory markings include an upper marked "M4A1" with an oval "5.56" and a lower marked "MODEL DDM4 / CAL. MULTI / BLACK CREEK, GA U.S.A." These identifying marks align with Daniel Defense production of the M4A1-configured DDM4 series.
