The Taurus Judge combines versatile dual-caliber capability with a compact, all-stainless package. Chambered for both .45 Colt cartridges and 2 1/2" .410 shotshells, this 3"-barreled revolver offers flexibility for range time or field carry. A matte stainless finish, red fiber-optic front sight, and rubber Ribber grip give it modern handling while the spurred hammer keeps traditional DA/SA control.

This Judge is built on a compact stainless frame that holds five rounds, keeping weight manageable while maximizing durability. The shallow-cut rifling is engineered to tighten .410 shot patterns without compromising accuracy with .45 Colt loads.
The 3" stainless barrel sports a full-length top rib and partial underlug, adding rigidity and controlling muzzle rise. A 1:12.14 RH twist rate supports standard .45 Colt projectiles, while the red fiber-optic front ramp and fixed gutter rear sight provide fast alignment in varied light.
Taurus’s DA/SA action offers a smooth double-action pull and crisp single-action break. A transfer-bar system and onboard hammer key lock add safety without altering the classic revolver feel.
The rubber Ribber grip absorbs recoil from both calibers and maintains a secure hold in wet or gloved hands. Proof marks read “MADE IN BRAZIL, TAURUS INT. MFG. MIAMI, FL – USA,” and the AV serial prefix denotes 2008-present production.
