The OSP slide features Springfield's Micro direct-mount optics footprint with the cover plate installed. The billet-machined steel slide has front and rear serrations and a black Melonite finish for added surface hardness and corrosion resistance. Iron sights include a high-visibility front dot paired with a serrated U-notch rear for a clear sight picture.
The installed threaded barrel measures 4.4 inches overall, is hammer-forged from steel, and wears a Melonite treatment with a 1:10 twist. A HAB bolt-on compensator is installed, and a knurled thread protector is included for use when the compensator is removed.
The compact polymer frame in black incorporates Adaptive Grip Texture and an add-on flared magwell to speed reloads. A single-slot accessory rail is integral to the dust cover for mounting compatible accessories. The dual captive recoil spring with a full-length guide rod and a locked-breech, striker-fired action contribute to smooth cycling.
Capacity is 17+1 with the included magazines. A loaded-chamber witness port provides a quick visual check. This non-manual-safety variant uses a trigger safety. Proof marks include MADE IN CROATIA with the Springfield Armory crossed‑cannons crest; matching serial numbers were observed on the frame and barrel.
