The receiver is steel with a polished blued finish and factory scroll engraving on both sides, adding a refined, period-correct touch. The 28-inch field barrel features a ventilated rib with a matted top and a single front bead sight. It has a fixed Modified choke and a 2 3/4 inch chamber. The barrel is marked "12 GA FOR 2 3/4 OR SHORTER SHELLS," aligning with the V-suffix receiver designation for a standard 12-gauge, 2 3/4 inch model.
