The Model 1300 accepts both 2 3/4 and 3 inch shells and uses a tubular magazine with a knurled cap, noted here at 2+1 capacity. The barrel detaches quickly via the magazine cap, making transport and maintenance straightforward. A single front bead provides a clean sight picture along the ventilated rib.
Winchester’s rotating, multi-lug locking bolt gives the 1300 its well-known Speed Pump lineage characteristics. The action is pump-operated with a cross-bolt safety in the trigger guard. The receiver is aluminum alloy with a blued finish, paired with a blued Winchester Proof Steel barrel.
Wood furniture includes a checkered stock with a recoil pad and a matching wood forend. Length of pull measures 13.75 inches, offering a practical fit for field use. Barrel markings include Made in New Haven, Conn. U.S.A. and Winchester Proof Steel.
