The X12PT is configured for 2.75-inch shells only, offering a straightforward manual pump-action operation with a 4+1 capacity. Its 18.5-inch barrel uses a fixed cylinder bore and a non-threaded muzzle, paired with a brass bead front sight and no rear sight for simple alignment.
The receiver is steel with a matte black finish and includes an integrated Picatinny rail on top. Right-side ejection and a cross-bolt safety provide familiar controls for a wide range of users.
The stock is polymer, fixed, and black with an integral pistol grip and a ribbed recoil pad. Up front, the polymer forend features vent slots for grip and control. Length of pull is 13.5 inches, and overall length is 38.2 inches, making it handy without being cramped.
