The Classic Featherweight configuration combines a controlled-round-feed action with a full-length claw extractor and a fixed blade ejector. It feeds from an internal box magazine with a hinged floorplate and a stated capacity of four rounds. The bolt body is jeweled, and the receiver is drilled and tapped from the factory.
The 22-inch Featherweight-contour barrel is finished with a recessed crown and is roll-marked "CLASSIC FEATHERWEIGHT." It is configured without open sights. The polished blued finish pairs with a blued/black receiver for a traditional look and durable surface.
The walnut stock features a Schnabel forend, cut checkering, straight comb, and pistol grip panels, along with sling swivel studs and a black recoil pad. Length of pull measures 13.5 inches, providing a balanced fit for field and bench use.
A Burris Fullfield II 3-9x40 scope is installed on a one-piece base with rings, offering variable magnification to match common hunting and range distances. This setup is ready for sight-in and use with the included optic.
Markings include "WINCHESTER TRADE MARK" and a New Haven, CT barrel address. This example is from the USRAC Classic-era of approximately 1994–2006 New Haven production.
