This blowback-operated rimfire 1911 keeps the classic full-size 1911 profile while delivering .22 LR performance. It is SAO (not DA/SA) with a long, skeletonized three-hole trigger and a skeletonized spur hammer, paired to a 5-inch fixed barrel with a traditional bushing.
Controls and sighting are straightforward and familiar: ambidextrous manual thumb safety, grip safety, and a left-side magazine release. The pistol wears fixed 3-dot contrast sights with a dovetailed rear, rear-only slide serrations, and a lowered ejection port.
Construction is centered on an alloy slide and frame finished in a matte black PTFE-type coating, complemented by double-diamond checkered wood grips bearing SIG SAUER branding. A flat, vertically serrated mainspring housing completes the 1911 ergonomics.
MFG. in Germany, this pistol bears German proof/inspection marks (DE) alongside the SIG SAUER INC EXETER-NH importer mark. It is a discontinued SIG-branded model closely related to the GSG 1911-22, with matching F-prefix serials on the barrel hood and frame.
The full-size configuration offers practical dimensions and capacity: approximately 8.5 inches OAL, 5.5 inches in height, 1.4 inches in width, about 36 oz in weight, and a 10+1 capacity.
