What’s Included
- 1x 10-round polymer magazine (body molded "5.45x39")
- AK-pattern cleaning rod (installed under barrel)
Built on the AK-74 platform, this Saiga uses a long-stroke gas piston with a rotating bolt and a stamped, dimpled receiver. The 16.5" barrel is paired with an AK-74-style two-chamber muzzle brake marked "US," and the rifle uses a 90-degree gas block with a vented gas tube. An AK side optic rail is factory-installed on the receiver.
Markings include the triangle-with-arrow Izhevsk proof and "LEGION IZHEVSK RUSSIA" along with "ARSENAL LAS VEGAS NV USA" import marks and "SAIGA 5.45x39." This example was imported prior to the 2014 U.S. sanctions that halted Saiga imports, adding clear pre-ban context to its provenance.
The rifle is outfitted with black polymer furniture, including a fixed stock with a right-side rear sling loop, a black polymer pistol grip, and black polymer handguards (ribbed lower, smooth upper). The stock provides a 12.5" length of pull, and the original AK-pattern cleaning rod remains installed under the barrel.
Sight regulation is handled by iron sights with a protected front post and a tangent leaf rear graduated 1–10. Capacity is 10+1 with the included 10-round magazine, which is a detachable polymer body molded with "5.45x39." Several components, including the stock and lower handguard, are U.S.-marked.
