The Chiappa M1-9 MBR blends M1-style handling with 9mm performance in a straight blowback semi-automatic carbine. This model features a 19-inch steel barrel with a non-functional faux-suppressor barrel shroud, a polymer stock and handguard, and flip-up iron sights. It accepts Beretta 92-pattern magazines and includes a full-length top Picatinny rail on the handguard plus an underside accessory rail. Made in Italy by Kimar and imported by Chiappa Firearms, it is marked on the receiver as "CHIAPPA M1-9."

The M1-9 MBR is a 9mm Luger carbine built on an M1-style platform with a polymer stock and handguard. The stock has a speckled texture and a rubber buttpad, with a 13.25-inch length of pull for a consistent shoulder feel. The alloy receiver wears a matte blued finish, and the steel barrel is housed within a faux-suppressor barrel shroud that is non-functional and designed for appearance and protection.
Its operating system is a simple, reliable straight blowback with a right-side charging handle featuring a round knob. Sighting is handled by flip-up iron sights, with an adjustable rear. The handguard integrates a full-length top Picatinny rail and an underside accessory rail, offering straightforward mounting options for sights and accessories as desired.
