This 5.7 Rock uses a delayed-blowback, striker-fired action tailored to the high-velocity 5.7x28mm cartridge. The 4.7 in flush, non-threaded barrel is carbon steel with fluting and a nitrided (QPQ) treatment for surface hardness and corrosion resistance.
The slide is 416 stainless steel with front and rear serrations for positive manipulation. It is factory optics-ready with an RMR-footprint cut, providing a straightforward path to mounting a compatible reflex sight if desired.
Sight details include dovetailed iron sights with a white dot front blade and a square-notch rear. The slide uses Glock-compatible sight cuts, offering flexibility for sight replacements within that pattern.
The black polymer frame features molded texturing and an integral multi-slot Picatinny accessory rail. A trigger safety with a safety tab is standard.
Capacity is 20+1 with the included 20-round Rock-series steel magazine. Rock-series magazines are not compatible with Ruger-57 magazines. This model is a recent release from Palmetto State Armory and is made in the United States.
