The M3000 uses an inertia-driven semi-automatic system with a rotating two-lug bolt head. Controls are on the right side with a bolt handle and bolt release for straightforward operation. It is chambered for 2 3/4 and 3 in. shells and has a stated 2+1 capacity.
The 26 in. barrel features a stepped, vent rib and a red fiber-optic front bead for a clear sight picture. The barrel is threaded for an interchangeable internal choke system, and this shotgun includes a flush-fit IC choke.
The stock and forend are synthetic with molded checkering for grip, finished in Realtree Max-4 camo to match the aluminum receiver. A soft rubber recoil pad and a rear sling swivel stud are integrated, with a length of pull measuring 14.5.
