Universal Firearms Model 3000 Enforcer .30 Carbine Pistol, 11.25 Inch Barrel, Early GI-Pattern, 1960s Hialeah Production
This Universal Firearms Model 3000 Enforcer is an early, first-generation GI-pattern .30 Carbine pistol built in Hialeah, Florida in the mid-1960s. It features the correct 11.25 inch barrel and a GI-marked barrel roll stamp reading "U.S. CARBINE CAL .30 M1." Notable early-configuration details include a solid GI-style slide with no cut-out, the narrow barrel band with integral front sling swivel, and the Enforcer one-piece pistol stock with a matching vented wood handguard. It is a collectible example of the original Universal Enforcer configuration.
Built on the M1 platform, this Enforcer uses a semi-automatic, short-stroke gas piston system with a rotating bolt. The steel receiver and blued finish match the GI-style build choices that define these early Universal pistols. The muzzle device features a rectangular top port, complementing the compact 11.25 inch barrel format.
The hardwood furniture is specific to the Enforcer pattern: a one-piece pistol stock with an integral flared grip and a clear gloss finish, paired with a wood upper handguard drilled with four ventilation holes. The early narrow barrel band retains the integral front sling swivel and omits a bayonet lug, consistent with the original design features.
Sighting equipment is GI-style throughout. The front is a blade on a ramped base, while the rear is an adjustable aperture with a sliding elevation ramp and windage knob. The slide is the solid GI-style type without the later cut-out, a detail favored by enthusiasts of the first-generation layout.
This example falls well before the Universal redesign that occurred around the 93k–104k serial range, aligning it with the early production era from 1964 to 1967. It is chambered in .30 Carbine with a 30+1 capacity and comes with both a 30-round extended magazine and a 15-round magazine.
