The AM-15 is a direct-impingement, semi-automatic AR-15 platform chambered in 5.56 NATO. Its 16-inch threaded barrel is fitted with a multi-port muzzle brake/compensator, and the flat-top Picatinny upper includes a forward assist and ejection port cover. Standard AR-15 controls and compatibility with detachable AR-15 pattern magazines keep operation familiar.
Receivers are 7075-T6 aluminum with a Type III hard-coat anodized finish. The free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard omits a continuous top rail and incorporates a short rail segment at the front. This setup offers modern accessory mounting along with a rigid free-float design.
Furniture includes a 6-position collapsible stock with a 10–13.5 inch length of pull range and a Magpul polymer pistol grip. Installed polymer flip-up front and rear sights provide a ready sighting solution out of the box. The rifle uses a manual safety, a standard magazine release, and a curved trigger.
The lower receiver is marked ANDERSON MANUFACTURING • HEBRON, KY • AM-15 • MULTI CAL with the running-horse logo. Made in the United States, this model represents Anderson Manufacturing’s AR-15 pattern rifle line; with the brand discontinued in 2025, factory production has ended.
