The LT-20 Youth variant uses Remington's small-frame receiver sized for 20 gauge, delivering the correct LT-20 ejection port contour and proportions. The barrel is marked Remington Arms Company Ilion, N.Y., U.S.A. and "FOR 2 3/4 IN. SHELLS," clearly identifying its chambering and factory origin.
The 21-inch barrel includes a vent rib and twin-bead sighting system with a brass front bead and a mid-bead for quick alignment. It uses the RemChoke interchangeable choke system and is set up with a Modified (Mod) choke, making it versatile for a wide range of 20-gauge loads within its 2 3/4 inch chamber.
Stocked in walnut, the youth-length buttstock offers a 13.0-inch length of pull with cut checkering, a pistol grip, and a rubber recoil pad. A grip cap with the gold R medallion adds a classic Remington touch. The matching walnut fore-end completes the set.
This Model 1100 is a semi-automatic, gas-operated shotgun with right-side ejection and a stated capacity of 2+1. Safety is handled by a cross-bolt safety at the trigger guard. Authentic factory marks include the oval REP proof mark and inspection symbols near the barrel extension.
