Magnetic-particle inspection, a 1:7 twist, and a threaded muzzle underscore its duty-grade build, while standard controls and sights keep operation familiar.

The LW-15 lower receiver is molded from glass-filled Nylon 6, trimming roughly seven ounces compared with a standard aluminum lower while retaining compatibility with mil-spec parts. Its design allows the safety selector to engage even when the hammer is forward, simplifying safe handling during maintenance.
Palmetto State Armory’s upper receiver is forged from 7075-T6 aluminum and matches the lower’s black finish. A 16" PSA barrel marked “MP CHF CL” confirms magnetic-particle inspection, cold-hammer forging, and a chrome-lined bore for extended service life and easier cleaning. The 1:7 twist stabilizes the full range of 5.56mm NATO and .223 Remington projectiles.
A 1/2-28 RH threaded muzzle supports standard AR-15 devices. The rifle ships with a fixed A2 front sight post and a polymer flip-up rear sight, giving immediate sighting capability out of the box.
Furniture includes a six-position collapsible stock, A2-pattern pistol grip, and carbine-length ribbed polymer handguards. A flat-top upper with integral rail allows straightforward mounting of optics or accessories.
