Built under license and marked with the rampant Colt logo and model/caliber rollmarks, this Rail Gun blends Colt branding with German Walther manufacturing. It is a full-size 1911 platform in .22 LR with a 5-inch barrel and approximately 8.6-inch overall length per factory specification, offering familiar 1911 ergonomics in a rimfire format.
The blowback-operated, single-action design uses a fixed barrel with a steel liner for consistent alignment and straightforward maintenance. The alloy slide and frame wear a matte black finish, complemented by black checkered synthetic grips for a secure hold.
Features include an integral Picatinny accessory rail with four slots, front and rear cocking serrations, and low-profile dovetailed iron sights with a drift-adjustable rear and a dovetailed front blade. Controls are 1911-standard with an ambidextrous thumb safety, grip safety, disconnector, skeletonized trigger, and a skeletonized commander-style hammer.
Markings and proofs are comprehensive: German CIP proofs, "Made by Carl Walther Germany," "US IMPORTER WALTHER ARMS FORT SMITH, AR," and licensing attribution to NEW COLT HOLDING CORP. The pistol’s serial number matches the label on the included factory case. Capacity is 12+1 using the included factory magazines.
