The heart of the P250 is its serialized stainless-steel fire-control unit, allowing the shooter to transplant the trigger group into other SIG grip modules, slides, and calibers. This example retains its full-size polymer grip module, providing ample purchase and housing a 17-round magazine for extended sessions at the range or duty use.
The 4.7" stainless-steel barrel partners with a Nitron-coated stainless slide featuring forward-slanting rear serrations for secure manipulation. Despite its large size, the bobbed external hammer minimizes snag points while preserving second-strike capability.
A long, consistent DAO trigger stroke—free of staging or creep—enhances safety without relying on manual levers. Internal striker and hammer safeties add redundant protection during carry and administrative handling.
Three-dot dovetail sights deliver a clear sight picture, and the full-length steel rails molded into the polymer frame maintain reliable slide-to-frame alignment for accuracy and durability.
