This first-generation Smith & Wesson M&P 9c packs full-size performance into a concealable 3.5-inch package. The previous owner enhanced control with a professional stipple job on every grip surface and added a bright red fiber-optic front sight for faster target acquisition. With its striker-fired action, embedded stainless-steel chassis, and reversible mag release, the original M&P 9c set the standard for modern duty compacts—and this example comes tapped for a micro-optic should you choose to add one.

Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Condition: Excellent – Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Rifling Condition: Excellent – Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: The polymer frame has professionally applied stippling on all grip panels. Slide is drilled and tapped for a micro-optic footprint; optic plate is not included. Light scratches and minor blemishes are present but do not affect function.

Introduced in 2005, the M&P series brought a steel-reinforced polymer frame and interchangeable backstraps to the mainstream. This compact 9c variant keeps those hallmarks while shortening the slide and grip for easier concealment.
The 3.5-inch stainless barrel is treated with Armornite for corrosion resistance, matching the slide’s black finish for a uniform look. Wavy rear serrations provide solid purchase when racking the slide.
Custom work focuses on shootability. Aggressive yet consistent stippling covers the side panels, front strap, and backstrap, locking the pistol in the hand during rapid strings. The red fiber-optic front sight pairs with a serrated steel rear notch for a bright, precise sight picture in varied light.
The slide has been professionally drilled and tapped for a micro-optic footprint, giving buyers the option to mount a red dot without milling. All factory safety features remain intact, including the hinged trigger safety and internal sear deactivation lever.
