The Kimber Rapide (Dawn) is a full-size 9mm 1911 built on stainless steel with a Silver KimPro II finish and a distinct performance-forward slide design. Its gold TiN-coated match barrel shows through lightening windows, and TruGlo TFX Pro day/night sights come factory installed. The left slide carries a "We the People 1776" engraving, adding a notable visual detail to this model.

The Rapide (Dawn) features a stainless steel slide and frame finished in Silver KimPro II, with brushed flats, stepped front and rear cocking serrations, and weight-reducing lightening windows. The slide is marked RAPIDE and the frame is rollmarked YONKERS NY USA.
Its 5.0 in match-grade stainless barrel uses a traditional bushing and wears a gold TiN coating that is visible through the windows. The barrel has a 1:16 LH twist, and the 9mm single-stack system offers a 9+1 capacity with a 12 lb recoil spring tuned for the caliber.
The single-action fire control includes a V-cut aluminum skeletonized trigger set at a factory approximate 4–5 lb pull, paired with a skeletonized commander-style hammer. An extended thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety with a memory bump provide confident manipulation. The front strap and mainspring housing are textured for positive purchase.
TruGlo TFX Pro day/night sights come installed, with an orange-ring tritium front and a two-dot tritium rear marked TG-H3. Gray/black textured G10 grip panels complement the silver finish and enhance handling.
Aesthetic details include the left-side "We the People 1776" engraving and the Silver KimPro II finish applied to both slide and frame. Overall dimensions are 8.7 in in length, 5.25 in in height, and 1.28 in in width, with an empty weight of 40 oz. Made in the USA.
