This Model 700 is built around a 24-inch heavy-profile stainless barrel with a plain crown, paired to a matte stainless receiver. The right-hand bolt uses dual opposed locking lugs, and the bolt body is spiral-fluted.
The adjustable composite stock is purpose-built, featuring a vertical pistol grip, a beavertail forend, and a black textured finish. It includes an adjustable butt/length-of-pull assembly and a cheekpiece on twin posts to fine-tune fit. Length of pull is set at 13.5 inches.
Feeding is through detachable box magazine bottom metal with a stated 5+1 capacity. Two 5-round steel magazines are included. The rifle is configured without sights.
