The L6 IMB configuration pairs a 6-inch barrel with an integral muzzle brake and lateral ports to help manage the .50 AE’s recoil impulse. Lightening cuts and an alloy frame reduce overall weight while maintaining the platform’s robust, gas-operated rotating-bolt system.
The slide-mounted, ambidextrous manual safety and single-action-only trigger provide familiar Mark XIX controls. A standard push-button magazine release and wraparound finger-groove rubber grips round out the handling features.
A full-length Picatinny rail is machined into the barrel rib, and the pistol includes fixed iron sights with a front blade and rear notch. The matte black finish on both slide and frame completes the cohesive, purpose-built look.
Markings include "MAGNUM RESEARCH INC., PILLAGER, MN USA," "DESERT EAGLE PISTOL," "MADE IN USA," and "50AE," underscoring its U.S. manufacture. Note: The item has been referred to as the L5 model; the pistol’s features, barrel length, and IMB configuration correspond to the Mark XIX L6 IMB.
